About
Chime Management CiC is a not for profit Company created to meet the unmet needs of young people, and to help other organisations do that better.
Based in the South West, we bring together extensive experience of young people’s services with business acumen and experience. Our Directors both work in the children and youth sector and bring a combined 40 years’ experience of success and innovation.
We are keen to work with commissioners of services for children and young people, whether these be any level of local Council or another type of commissioning body. We are particularly keen to work with commissioners where there is not an ‘off the shelf’ solution to an established issue or problem, to help co-design effective responses to these issues, or to help start new pieces of work. We want to help commissioning bodies to do their work more coherently and effectively and, ultimately, improve the lives of children and young people.
We also work with individuals and bodies that work with young people to help turn their work, passion and ideas into feasible business models. We want to support youth-focussed organisations to grow and be more ambitious, growing their successful models.
We intend to change the way services for children and young people are delivered and imagined, starting in Gloucestershire and watching the ripples flow outwards!

Ben Evans
DIRECTOR
Ben Evans is our Managing Director. With over 20 years’ experience of working with young people and managing projects that do, his expertise lies in understanding the needs of young people and finding solutions to help meet these. Prior to founding Chime, Ben founded and managed CMAS, taking it from just a concept to one of the largest providers of work with young people in the region. In his career he also piloted the “Youth Collective”, training a group of teenagers to take over their own youth centre in a suburb of Gloucester. In London Ben managed the largest statutory and voluntary sector youth clubs (respectively) in the London Borough of Southwark.
Ben has recently completed an MSC at the University of Bristol in Public Policy and is an elected member of Gloucestershire County Council representing his home village of Churchdown. In his spare time he coaches football and runs for fun.
